Round Time Limit

by Crispy » Wed 20. Nov 2013, 17:27

If you experience, that your rounds automaticly end after a certain time and you don't want to have a time limit, set the round time limit to 0.

Do this in the settings as well as in the map specific settings. You should also include vars.roundTimeLimit 0 to your startup.txt.

Yes and No.

Yes, because if you change any value (with the current server version) after startup, the server might switch to custom.
No, because if the server would work as intended and documented, it would stay HARDCORE or NORMAL or whatever your sets are.

For now, you should 1. change the value in rconNET and then change it in your startup.txt. After that restart your server.

Type vars.preset "NORMAL" into the console every time your server does not appear as NORMAL.

How to make that in Conquest and Rush there was no time limit, and in Obliteration there were 30 minutes?

I just updated rconNET to support this server var. Unfortunatly I have set the default value to 100% instead of zero => infinite round time.

So you just need to set the value vars.roundTimeLimit to 0 and the round time will be infinte!

I edited my post to clarify things:

So you just need to set the value vars.roundTimeLimit to 0 and the round time will be infinte!

The HARDCORE, NORMAL, CUSTOM problem remains...
